1 Attachment(s)
Has anyone ever seen this size silver bar before? I have not...any idea why such a size would be fabricated?
It is marked 16.075 .oz which converts to 500 grams / half kilogram. |
Re: Engelhard half kilo silver bars?
I haven't seen one of these, but kilogram bars circulate in Europe.
That bar has "cool factor." |
Re: Engelhard half kilo silver bars?
It has neat dimensions as well, about one dime tall, two dimes wide and six dimes long...sorry misplaced my ruler...:D

Re: Engelhard half kilo silver bars?
Yes, 1 kilo bars, but also 500 and 250 gram bars, are the most common in Europe, but I've never seen one of those with the weight given in ounces. That bar is probably quite rare.

Wow! Sell that as an "art bar" on Ebay for about $5.00 per oz over spot.
Edit: Don't forget the $25.00 shipping. |

Re: Engelhard half kilo silver bars?
Saw the coolest Engelhard recently.
A very small, poured Englehard gold bar stamped 1.608 oz (50 g). Looked like a mini brick. Could have been had for spot, but I was there for other reasons. If it is still there next time I visit, I may find a home for it. Personally, my fav Engelhards are my 3 oz. and 100g silver bars. |
